Created in 1990, ADCO is the French reference in skills and know-how in the connectors industry.
The founder, Christian ADRIEN developed the D-SUB product range at
ITT Cannon, AMPHENOL and qualified the Asian suppliers for Molex.
In 1990 he set up the European division of EDA Inc, Taiwanese leader in the connectors industry. In 1992 he bought out EDA and EDA Europe became ADCO.
Based in Paris, the company widened its product range to include Centronics, pin headers, mini-jumpers (1993-1995), later with cable assemblies and telephone jacks (1996) and went into partnership with EDA to supply connectors to European key players (ITT CANNON, AMPHENOL……).
In 1999 ADCO moved to its new site in Antibes, opposite the Sophia-Antipolis business and technology centre.
In 2004 the product range was increased further to include co-axial connectors and power contacts.
